Microsoft released Windows 11 KB5005191 update to the Windows Insiders in the Dev and Beta Channel. Windows 11 KB5005191 is also known as Build 22000.168. This update will be available as a free upgrade to the Windows 10 users as Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.22000.168 (co_release) and 2021-08 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 for x64-based Systems (KB5005191).

As the name suggests, Cumulative Updates are for Windows 11 users. Windows 11 Build 22000.168 (KB5005191) is just a sequel update after the KB5005189 and consists of very minor changes, fixes, and issues. It’s also a pretty stable update for both the Dev and Beta Channel users.

Windows 11 users on Dev Channel will get a new update to the Microsoft Store. A new Microsoft Store version 22108.1401.9.0 got an updated UI for the Library and Home. The library page in the Microsoft Store lists the installed apps on your PC. You can also apply updates to the apps from the library page. Now it will be easier to manage, update, and uninstall apps from the Microsoft Store.
Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.22000.168 (co_release)
Windows 10 users need to signup for the Windows Insider Program with their Microsoft Account to receive Windows 11 free upgrade. Further Windows 10 users’ PCs must meet the hardware requirements. Windows 11 requires GPT Disk Partition,TPM 2.0 chips support and UEFI Boot Mode with the Secure Boot option. Microsoft has made a minor changes with 22000.168 Build by adding a few Intel and AMD non supported processors to the list.
Windows 11 Insider Preview 22000.168 is available on both the Dev and Beta Channels. Dev Channel users will receive more frequent updates in the future whereas Beta users will only receive stable updates.
Windows 10 users will also receive Windows Defender, Security Intelligence, .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8, Windows 10 21H1, Windows 10 21H2, Intel Display, and Malicious Software Removal updates along with Windows 11. Make sure to download and install all updates before installing Windows 11 update.
