Microsoft released an urgent Windows 11 KB5008295 Update to all the users including Insiders on the Release Preview and Beta Channel. From the last week, many users were not able to use certain built-in apps such as Snipping Tool, Touch Keyboard, Emojis, Input Method Editor, Voice Typing Assistant, Tips, and more.
Later, Microsoft has addressed the Digital Certificate Expiration issue on the 31st October 2021 and has fixed it with the Windows 11 KB5008295 download. Certificate expiration was preventing Snipping Tool from opening on Windows 11. All the users must immediately download and install this update.
Download Windows 11 KB5008295 Update
Go to Settings App from Start Menu and tap on the last Windows Update option from the right-side vertical menu. Then tap on the blue Check for Update button to fetch the latest updates. Windows Update will take some time to show all the available updates for your PC. Tap on the Download Now button once you see the “2021-11 Update for Windows 11 for x64-based Systems (KB5008295)” update in the list.
If your network isn’t on the metered connection or paused updates, your PC might have already started the download. Also, restart once it has completed the download. Windows 11 KB5006746 download will be an optional update.
Windows 11 KB5008295 is a non-security and out-of-band update without any increment in the build number. The build number will remain the same.
